Like many investment clients, I was looking to build my own principal residence. This led me to pursue a career in real estate so that I could educate myself to the point of being able to invest on my own behalf. Fortunately, my first brokerage had formal training and a great instructor, which made it much easier for me to pursue real estate as a full time career and be successful. I have been a full time Realtor since 1986 and that success has in turn instilled in me a passion to always negotiate on behalf of my clients for their needs as I had for myself.
I often work with sellers to help them decide on the right time to market their home. It can be challenging to get our schedules aligned together and along with the peak market trends, but I enjoy spending time with them – sometimes for months – to have the home ready and get them highest and best value for their property. Attending CRS (Council of Residential Specialists) national conferences on the mainland continues to keep me current with the progression of real estate. I also have extensive experience with subdivision development while working for Realty Investment Company, LTD – which was established in 1926 – as their Principal Broker.
I am always grateful for referrals from my past clients and their friends and family. At that point I know that they are more than comfortable with my professional services.
At the end of the day, I find everything is better after I have been in the ocean or completed my laps at the pool. I also enjoy barbecuing after a day of working on the yard and harvesting fruit for friends or riding my motorcycle around the island and on the mainland. I’m lucky to live in Hawaii!
