Selling real estate is more than just a job to me. My family has been involved in California real estate for more than a century— since the early 1900s.

From an early age, I was taught the importance of agriculture and the value of land. It’s something I learned from my father, who was a vineyard owner in Northern California.

Selling land is in my blood; it’s how I was raised. Real estate is a business that literally flows in my veins and I love it! I’ve been investing in real estate since 1967.

My husband and I moved with our son to the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island in 1992. We absolutely love the lush tropical landscape, the cascading waterfalls, tropical gardens, and stunning ocean views that come with living in this part of the Big Island.

Over the course of the past 20 years I’ve come to be known for my extensive land expertise and knowledge of the high-end market. During that time I’ve worked with companies, such as Hawaii Life, ReMax Properties, and MacArthur & Company Sotheby’s International Realty.

I understand the nuances of the real estate market on the Big Island and the forces behind the economic cycles that affect our island.

Success is one of the happy results of doing what you love. While having sold $84 million in Big Island real estate in the past decade would be considered very successful to many people, to me the bigger success is building relationships with my clients based on trust. I pride myself on listening to clients and really understanding their needs and unique situation. I truly enjoy helping people get the best possible results for their situation, whether they’re a buyer or a seller.

On a personal level, I really enjoy gourmet cooking—so much so that I created and sold five restaurants while living in California. In addition to cooking, I also enjoy swimming. I’m also actively involved with the Big Island Wine Connection, East Hawaii Cultural Center, Hawaii Island Board of Realtors, and Hamakua Neighbors.
