Ko’Olina embodies resort living. Located in the sunniest part of Oahu, Ko’Olina also is home to resorts such as the Marriott, Aulani Disney Resort & Spa, and the soon to come Four Seasons Ko’Olina, among others. Ko’Olina is built around a series of fabulous crescent lagoons which the beachfront resorts and homes are centered around. Visitors can spend a week enjoying the gorgeous waters, white sand beaches, and perfectly sunny weather day after day. The area is so attractive that many locals make a weekend visit to Ko’Olina to relax and feel pampered as a quick getaway. Facing towards the west, Ko’Olina displays spectacular sunsets virtually every night.
The highly popular Roy’s Restaurant and Monkeypod Kitchen both have locations in Ko’Olina for convenient fine dining. Just ten minutes away lies Kapolei, the famed “Second City” of Oahu, with all of the shopping, services, and restaurants that could possibly be necessary. Home to a world class Ted Robinson designed golf course, which hosts the annual LPGA LOTTE Championship, where Hawaii’s own Michelle Wie has honed her skills, Ko’Olina is a golf course resort community. The entire Ko’Olina Resort is golf cart friendly and both residents and guests enjoy driving to the beaches, shops, and restaurants in their golf carts.
There are three gated communities within Ko’Olina, the Kai Lani, Coconut Plantation, and Ko’Olina Kai Golf Estates and Villas. The communities of Coconut Plantation, Ko’Olina Kai, and Fairways boast units on the perfectly manicured golf course. There are many single family homes located in Ko’Olina Kai, townhomes, and beach front condos throughout the rest of the communities along the 4 crescent lagoons of Ko’Olina. Within all communities there is a highway commute to downtown for work, or a quick drive to Kapolei for groceries. Owners at the Beach Villas enjoy perks such as their own on-site fitness center with locker rooms, dry sauna, steam sauna, and showers. Owners at the other 5 Ko’Olina residential communities receive membership to the Ko’Olina Beach and Sports Club, the use of two tennis courts, a Yoga pavilion, the use of golf club locker rooms, fitness classes, yoga, stand-up paddle boarding, and access to the clubhouse above the Marina store. Each community also has its own pool and Jacuzzi.
While the pet limitations vary by community, over all, Ko’Olina is very pet friendly and is the home to over 100 furry friends commonly seen walking through the scenic area with their owners. Ko’Olina Marina is also home to many ocean adventures, with deep sea fishing, charter cruises, dolphin and whale watching tours, and snorkeling, among others. To get a taste of Hawaiian culture and flavor, Paradise Cove Luau is hosted nightly and visitors are attracted to this event from all over the island.
Ko’Olina has so much to offer as a resort community that it is easy to see why it has become such a popular destination for full time residents and second home buyers.
